Couple Arrested in Connection With Road Rage Incident
Incident occurred near Old Cumming Road and Nelson Brogdon Boulevard.
A Nov. 28 road rage incident led to a minor accident and the arrest of a Sugar Hill couple. Police were dispatched to Old Cumming Road and Nelson Brogdon Boulevard after a Buford man called police to report that a female motorist had pointed a gun at him. According to the Buford man, he and a friend were driving to work when a woman, identified as Kimberly Dutton, 50, of Sugar Hill, pulled out of a driveway and nearly struck their vehicle. The Buford man said his friend had to swerve to avoid being struck by Dutton's vehicle. "[The Buford man] stated that Dutton became upset over the incident and pulled out a silver snub nosed 38 revolver and pointed it directly at him," the officer wrote in the report.
