I oppose violence of any kind toward any of God’s creation. Abuse of the environment or of any of God’s creatures should never be allowed. Believing that life begins at conception, I see this as the taking of a life. The arguments used to determine the allowance of abortion always rests upon human choice. The most vulnerable and innocent among us are not allowed to have their choice known when someone else determines their life will end. The time to seek help for the person with uncontrolled rage is at the first sign of their negative behavior
Abuse, violence, and uncontrolled rage are not limited to any one segment of our society. The rich, poor, middle class, educated, uneducated, employed, unemployed and the list is endless when tracking the areas where violence and abuse occur. Spouse abuse and violence all too often makes the news when people of notoriety, means or wealth demonstrate the abusive behavior. There seems to be an escalation of rage in the last month of the year. It could be that during this time of year there are more stressful family times bringing out the worst in behavior or it could be the rage has built up for many months to only be displayed in December. We should declare an entire year to be on guard.
It seems every day, week, and month is set aside to highlight an organization or cause. Recently, I missed national donut day and felt guilty later when I realized I had a free day coming not to feel bad about enjoying donuts. The range of awareness issues are kept before the public in order to call attention to certain needs and causes in our culture. I see the positive side of that type of promotion. Many people would never think about certain causes if there were not a day when it would be designated as such. In no way would I ever suggest we need to rethink the way some of the events are planned to promote real causes of harm against animals, people or the environment. We need to be aware and we need to pay attention to certain aspects…

Ray, Thank you for writing this article and reminding us that innocent children need to be protected. I too was wondering about the lost impact of those millions of babies that were killed and discarded as if they were useless matter.
