Buford and Sugar Hill obituaries Feb. 9 - Feb. 11, 2013 Phyllis Ann Marsingill Hansard Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 11 for Phyllis Ann Marsingill Hansard. Hansard, 65, of Buford, passed away on Feb. 7. Hansard, a 1965 graduate of Buford High School, was a secretary for the Buford Church of God for the past 26 years. Durden Funeral Services to Be Held Sunday

Devin Durden, the Buford High School graduate and standout football player, passed away Oct. 4 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Visitation and funeral services for Devin Durden, 21, the Buford High School graduate and standout football player who was seriously injured in a Sept. 26 motorcycle accident near the Mall of Georgia, will be held this weekend. An announcement on the "Prayers for Devin Durden" Facebook page indicates visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 6 from 2:30-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Flanagan's Funeral Home in Buford. The funeral will be held Sunday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Buford. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens.
