Ticket Prices, Dome Info for Buford Wolves in Football Championship Game

Buford High School Athletics Director Dexter Wood posted some great information on the football team’s website about the state championship game this weekend.

Buford, the No. 1 team in Class 3A and defending Georgia High School Association champ, plays Washington County in the final, at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the Georgia Dome.

Tickets

Pre-Sale Tickets purchased at BHS are $18.00. All tickets at The Georgia Dome gate are $20.00.  All tickets purchased on www.ticketmaster.com are $25.50.  All seats are General Admission.  Buford is the HOME team for this game.

Pre-sale tickets available:

• BHS Commons Area on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.
• Cash or Checks only.  Make checks payable to Buford High School.
• If a child can walk they must have a ticket. Only infant/in arm babies do not need a ticket.
• Only GHSA passes are allowed at the Dome. Cardholder must show photo ID. 

Dome tickets for Friday & Saturday are available online at http://www.ticketmaster.com/ and will be assessed a $5.50 convenience fee.  Tickets purchased online will be available to pickup at Will Call at the Dome.  Essentially, they are $25.50/ticket.  My advice to callers who want to use a credit card for purchasing tickets would be to purchase at the gate with their credit cards & save themselves the $5.50 Ticketmaster convenience fee.  Because we all know the Dome WILL NOT SELL OUT.  Also, tickets purchased for the Buford Game are good for ALL GAMES ON FRIDAY ONLY.  Friday tickets are NOT VALID for Saturday games.  Tickets must be purchased for each day & are good for the whole day of games.

Be aware of ticket scams outside the Dome. I suggest you not purchase a ticket at the Dome from any individual you do not know. They could already be used for entry and scanned and will not allow you into the Dome.

We do not have Saturday tickets available here.  The closest school with Saturday tickets available for $18 presale is North Gwinnett High School.

GA Dome Gates/Seating

Since Buford is the HOME team, enter through either GATE B or LOWER GATE C. GHSA also encourages fans to exit the Dome after the game at these same gates.

As the HOME team, our bench is designated on the NORTH side of the Dome.

There is a 2:30 pm game before our game. The home fans of Aquinas will already be seated for their game. Please be considerate of them during and after their game as you get to the Dome. Do not assume that their fans are leaving their seats and the Dome when their game ends.

Gates will open one hour prior to the start of the 1st game or at approximately 1:30 pm on Friday. 

GHSA Runners-Up and Championship Trophy presentations will directly follow the game.

No airhorns or whistles

Thundersticks, milk jugs & cowbells are OK

No signage can be attached to rails or walls

Absolutely no fans are allowed on the playing field before or after the game
