In second-round action, North Gwinnett will travel to defending state champ Grayson, Brookwood visits Mill Creek, and South Gwinnett visits Norcross. Parkview travels outside the county to take on West Forsyth (of 6-AAAAAA).

Also, Buford (Class AAA) and Greater Atlanta Christian (Class AA) are still alive, giving Gwinnett a total of nine teams still with a chance at a state title. The Wolves travel to North Oconee, and GAC will travel to Heard County in the second round.
