Buford Teams Defeated in Georgia High School Basketball Finals
Wolves teams fall to Morgan County in boys final and St. Pius in the girls.
Buford High School was swept in the Class 3A finals of the Georgia High School Association basketball tournament Saturday in Macon.
The Wolves lost 69-45 to Morgan County in the boys final, and 48-45 to St. Pius in the girls championship game.
Morgan County used a 20-5 run in the first quarter and 36 points from Tookie Brown in the boys final, according to coverage on AJC.com. Rakim Lubin has 12 points to lead Buford (27-6).

In the girls game, Buford (30-3) had a double-digit lead early but couldn’t hold it. Camille Anderson had 14 points for Buford.
