Construction is well underway at the Georgia Gun Club.
Owner Verne Fowler expects the range to open in February and said construction crews are "making great progress."
In anticipation of the February 2014 opening, the Georgia Gun Club has begun hiring for several positions including retail team members, certified NRA instructors, an accounting/inventory manager and more.
Georgia Gun Club human resources manager Kristi Gorinas said interviews are underway. Those offered employment can expect a January start date in order to allow time for training in advance of the February 2014 opening. Industry experience is preferred, she added.
Resumes may be submitted via email. Additional details are available on the Georgia Gun Club careers page.
"It's really exciting for us," Gorinas said referring to the progress being made on the facility.
The Georgia Gun Club is under construction at 1951 Braselton Highway, Buford. The 37,000-square-foot facility will have 28 indoor lanes, an 8,000-square-foot retail store, a classroom, a member’s lounge, a gunsmith shop and a simulator room and will offer pistol, rifle and shotgun shooting courses as well as personal protection classes.
