Food Storage, Hold Temps Cited in 2 Failed Health Inspections
Buford-area inspections conducted by the Gwinnett County health department.
Two Buford-area restaurants failed their routine inspections this week, according to the county health department.
Saigon Café’, located at 3380 Buford Drive, scored 61 out of 100 on June 3. El Molcajete Mexican Restaurant, located at 2590 Hamilton Mill Road, scored 65 on June 2.
A follow-up was to be scheduled within 10 days for both restaurants.

Saigon Café, which scored an 86 on its last inspection in August, drew red marks for food holding temperatures and food storage and separation.

El Molcajete, which scored 91 on its last inspection in September, was cited for several food-storage violations, including raw chicken stored about raw fish and raw pork in the upright freezer.
