Woman Says She Was Robbed at Gunpoint Near Bowling Alley

Second woman was present during incident, but was not robbed.

A 30-year-old Buford woman said she was robbed at gunpoint during a Dec. 16 incident near the Oasis bowling alley on Horizon Parkway.

The woman told police she was sitting in the front passenger seat of a vehicle while the owner was still outside the car. According to the woman, a man ran up to the car, opened the passenger side door, pointed a gun at her head and demanded money.

When the woman said she had no money, the robber reportedly snatched a set of keys out of her hand and yelled “Let’s go!” in Spanish to a second male that had also approached the vehicle. Both males fled in the direction of the Countryside mobile home park.

The owner of the vehicle said she was near her trunk when she saw the first suspect open the passenger side door of her car. At that point, a second male approached and reportedly pushed the vehicle owner up against the side the car. According to the vehicle owner, the second suspect did not say anything and did not take anything from her.

The first suspect was described as a 5-foot-6 Hispanic male with a medium build. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a white and black plaid shirt and a camouflage mask. He was reportedly armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

The second suspect was described as a 5-foot-4 Hispanic male with a medium build, also wearing a white and black plaid shirt and a camouflage mask. The second suspect did not appear to be armed according to the women.

The case is listed as active.
