Woman Flashes Passing Motorist While Fleeing From Police

The woman, who police believe was under the influence of drugs, reportedly behaved erratically and would "speak gibberish" at times.

A woman who knocked on the door of a Sugar Hill residence and later exposed herself while running from officers was apparently under the influence of narcotics.

Gwinnett County Police were called to a home in the 1400 block of Hillcrest Drive in Sugar Hill on Dec. 3 after residents said a woman who had knocked on the door asking for water was refusing to leave.

According to the incident report, the 37-year-old woman appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

“[The woman] would speak plain English at one moment, then speak gibberish the next,” the officer wrote in the report. “[Her] movement was erratic and was consistent with someone who abused methamphetamines.”

The woman admitted smoking marijuana earlier in the day and also said she had been arrested previously for methamphetamine possession.

While speaking with police, the woman’s movements reportedly became more erratic. When asked where she lived, the woman named a mobile home park then turned and ran. Two officers ran after her.

“[The woman] exposed her breasts to passing motorist as she ran. I saw [the woman] trip and fall,” the report stated. The officer then placed the woman in handcuffs.

Paramedics responded to the scene but were unable to assess the woman due to her inability to remain still. The officer decided to transport the woman to Gwinnett Medical Center. The woman, the officer noted, was involuntarily admitted after staff determined she was “a danger to herself and others.”

No charges were filed.
