Driver said he left the tractor running while he went inside to get something to eat.

A South Carolina truck driver ended up losing more than just a little time when he stopped to get a bite to eat at the QuikTrip near the intersection of Buford Drive and I-985 on Aug. 22.

The driver told Gwinnett County Police that he left his tractor unit running with the doors unlocked while he went inside the store. By the time he walked back outside, the rig was gone.

The stolen vehicle is described as a white 2007 Volvo VNL64T.

The case is listed as active.

Serves him right, I hope he lost his job. i see so many people do this, I would get in it myself and drive it down the road and lock the keys up if i thought i could get away with it. besides, in Ga it's against the law to leace a vehicle running unattended....
