Becky Walace, 55, of Suwanee was the first drowning victim at the lake this summer.

Authorities have identified Becky Wallace, 55, of Suwanee as the woman who drowned Saturday (June 1) in a tubing-related accident at Lake Lanier.

According to 11alive.com, Wallace and three children were being pulled in a tube by a pontoon boat when the tube flipped. The accident occurred about 2:15 p.m. in the Shoal Creek area of the lake.
