Gwinnett Police: Man Attacks Girlfriend over Lost iPod Charger

The incident in Sugar Hill occurred in front of the woman's child, according to the incident report.

A Sugar Hill man is facing battery and child cruelty charges after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend in front of her son, police said.

Samuel William London of an Old Spring Way address was arrested after the incident on June 27. According to the police report, the suspect became "extremely upset" because she lost the charger to their iPod.

During the incident, London allegedly pinned his girlfriend to her bed, then placed his hand over her mouth and told her, "shut ... up." Also, the victim told police that London bit her on the right forearm.

The woman's son was in the bedroom when the attack occurred and witnessed the entire event, according to the report.

The child was crying over the incident and said the suspect was "a bad man and he hurt (his) mother."

Another resident of the house heard the incident break out and called police.
