Growling Man Spits on Clerk’s Face, Says He’ll Be Back

Clerk said man appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.

An unusual encounter with a customer left a gas station clerk with spit on her face, but no other injuries.

Police were called to the Dacula Road Exxon in Dacula, Ga. on Oct. 28 after a man described as a regular customer exhibited strange behavior. According to the clerk, the male entered the store, cut in front of everyone that was in line and placed his red Nintendo 3DS on the counter. The clerk advised she repeatedly asked the man if there was anything he wanted to purchase, but he just stood at the counter and stared at her.

The suspect, the clerk told police, then began to make a growling noise and shake his body.
