Burglary Reported at Buford Auto Parts Store

Store employees discovered window was broken, but no items appeared to have been taken.

Gwinnett County Police are investigating a March 3 burglary that occurred at a Buford Highway auto parts store.

On the morning of March 3, employees of the Buford Autozone discovered a glass pane on the building had been broken and called police. Officers checked the store, but did not find anyone inside the business.

A manager and a store employee subsequently checked the business, but did not notice anything missing. The manager further advised the alarm had apparently not been activated since he had not received any notification from the alarm company. While police were at the scene, the manager contacted the alarm company and confirmed the alarm had not been activated.
