Have You Tried Instagram?

Yes, I am late to the Instagram party.

In all fairness, there are a lot of social media sites to explore out there and it has taken me a while to get around to Instagram. Now, as a user for all of four days, I am prepared to share my efforts with the world.

What is Instagram? Instagram is a mobile application that helps you make your high definition, multi-megapixel images look old … I mean vintage.

Why would you want to do that? Because all the hipsters are doing it.

What do I do after I make my photos look old? You tweet them, post them on Facebook, pin them on your Pinterest page and upload them to Buford Patch, but not necessarily in that order.

Is that it? No. You can follow people, leave snarky comments and do all the other normal things people do on social media.

What made you decide to try Instagram? Flula – I follow him on Twitter and his Instagram tweets caught my eye.

What do I need in order to use Instagram? A smartphone and a modicum of technological ability.
