$400K Lottery Ticket Sold in Sugar Hill

Lavoris Harris, 30, played the Georgia Lottery's Lucky Streak instant game and won the top prize.

A Georgia Lottery ticket that won $400,000 was sold at a Sugar Hill-area convenience store, according to a press release.

Atlanta groundskeeper Lavoris Harris, 30, won the prize in the Lucky Streak instant game after purchasing the ticket at the Sugar Hill Chevron Food Mart at 4725 Nelson Brogdon Boulevard.

“I looked, and I couldn’t believe it,” Harris said in the press release. “I really didn’t freak out. I was calm, and that surprised me.”

Harris said he's planning to purchase a home and a new car with his winnings.
