Are you ready to get eco-spooky with a large orange squash? The GEHC will host its 2nd annual Green Pumpkin Carving Contest on October 19, 2012 - not actual green pumpkins - we still prefer the orange ones but want to see how creative you can be in carving your pumpkins with a “green” theme. Use your imagination to come up with a nature or environmental themed carving and have your pumpkin displayed (and judged) at the annual Creatures of the Night Festival . All pumpkins will be lined along one of our trails, lit with our LED lights, and judged by GEHC staff. A ‘People’s Choice’ award will also be selected by visitors.
The Creatures of the Night Festival will be held Friday, October 19st from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Awards will given at the end of the event.
