Movie Companies Seeking Lake Lanier Homes for Filmings in 2013

Do you own a large, lakefront home at Lake Lanier, or know someone who does? A couple of major motion picture companies would like to talk to you.

According to the Lake Lanier Association website, Universal and Warner Brothers both need large homes near the water for filming and residence in June and July.

Universal will be filming a remake of "Endless Love," which originally was released in the 1980s. Their requirements:

A big lakeside home with a big backyard with views of the lake.

Photos needed: 

Exterior front and rear of the house, with views of the back yard in particular both from the house and from the lake. Also, photos of the entry foyer, the yard, back porch, if there is an area for a bonfire, the garage (inside and out) an interior bathroom, front door, living room, 2 bedrooms – 1 master. Also if there is a dock photos are appreciated.

Filming will take place the first week in June – with pre/post taking a total of about 7 days.

Warner Brothers will be filming "Blended," a romantic comedy. Its needs are:

Residential housing for the principle (sic) cast members. Three lake houses – one needs to have a pool, one needs to be pet (dog) friendly. These should be executive level – fully furnished homes. Available for rental June and July. They will be shooting at least 50 days on the lake.

Location homes to shoot scenes depicting the characters’ fictional homes. Looking for neighborhoods with two story, homes with lots of curb appeal. 

Outdoor batting cages – any leads on these within 30 minutes of Lake Lanier are appreciated.
