Man Arrested on Charges Relating to Death of Usher's Stepson

Jeffery Hubbard facing several charges in connection with July 2012 death of Kile Glover in a jet ski accident on Lake Lanier.

A Hall County Grand Jury indicted Jeffery Hubbard on Feb. 28 in connection with the July 2012 death of Kile Glover on Lake Lanier.

Hubbard was charged with homicide by vessel, serious injury by vessel, reckless operation of a vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft and a boat traffic violation. He was taken into custody March 1 by rangers with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and booked into the Hall County Detention Center.

Kile Glover was critically injured on July 6, 2012 after being hit by a jet ski driven by Hubbard. A 15-year-old girl with Glover also was injured. Both were life-flighted to Children's Hospital in Atlanta where Glover later died. Glover was in an inner tube being pulled by a pontoon boat when struck by Hubbard's jet ski.
