OREO Cookie Doughnuts Now Available at Buford Krispy Kreme

As if original glazed weren't good enough, Krispy Kreme has rolled out a nearly irresistible combination -- Krispy Kreme doughnuts and OREO cookies.

The two new doughnuts, currently available at the Buford Krispy Kreme, are topped and filled with chocolate cookie and cream goodness.

"This new, grown up take on cookies and cream treats is sure to bring out the inner kid, and smiles, in everyone," said Chef Ron Rupocinski, Krispy Kreme Corporate Chef in a released statement.

The Cookies and KREME Cake Doughnut is a traditional chocolate cake doughnut infused with OREO cookie pieces and topped with white icing, OREO cookie pieces and a dollop of OREO flavored Kreme blended with cookie pieces. The Cookies and KREME doughnut is filled with OREO-flavored KREME filling and OREO cookie pieces and topped with dark chocolate icing and OREO cookie pieces.

The new doughnuts will be available through April 21 at participating Krispy Kreme locations.

In other doughnut news, Krispy Kreme has announced it will offer strawberry Krispy Juniors mini cake doughnuts at participating mass merchants, grocery and convenience stores while supplies last.

The Buford Krispy Kreme is located at 3387 Buford Drive, near the Mall of Georgia.
