Michigan-Based Company Acquires Buford Wendy's Restaurant
The restaurant is the 112th Wendy's acquired by the company.
Michigan-based Meritage Hospitality Group Inc. (OTCQX: MHGU), a national restaurant operator, has added a Buford fast food restaurant to its holdings.
On March 8, Meritage announced the acquisition of its 112th Wendy's restaurant in Buford, Ga.
“We are committed to growth in the Wendy’s brand and welcome our new team members to Meritage,” stated Robert Schermer, Jr., CEO of Meritage Hospitality Group.

Meritage owns and operates 112 restaurants in six states including Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North and South Carolina and Virginia.
