Lingerie Football League Announces New Gwinnett Team
Team will be based at the Gwinnett Center.
Good news sports fans -- or lingerie fans. The Lingerie Football League (LFL) is coming to Gwinnett County. On Oct. 2, the LFL announced Gwinnett Center will be home to the league’s 12th team.
The LFL is currently accepting name suggestions for the new team. Fans are invited to submit possible team names to LFLinAtlanta@LFLUS.com by Friday, Oct. 19. The LFL will also host an open tryout, but the date has not yet been announced.
“Atlanta is one of those signature markets that any sports league targets. What primarily drove our decision to come to Atlanta was the incredible interest from the city, host arenas and fans”, said Mitchell S. Mortaza, Founder & Chairman, Lingerie Football League, LLC, in a released statement.
