Buford Company Participating in Dealer Conference and Vendor Showcase

OMNIMETRIX produces wireless remote monitoring systems.

This week, Buford based OMNIMETRIX is participating in the Annual Generac Dealer Conference and Vendor Showcase at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Andy Briggs, board member and former Generac dealer owner, is scheduled to present two training sessions on increasing profits and retaining customers with OMNIMETRIX wireless remote monitoring during the Jan. 7-8 conference.

According to the OMNIMETRIX website, the company's systems "monitor standby power generation, backup power generators, remote powered equipment, cellular towers, emergency towered communications and remote tower sites all over the world."

This remote monitoring, company officials say, is needed as part of a comprehensive maintenance program for generator manufacturers and dealers.
