Rebranding for Adam Sandler Movie Filming in Buford Area
The film planned for a 2014 release reportedly has a new title.
That Adam Sandler movie that is filming in the Buford and Lake Lanier areas is already taking on a new form.
According to yahoo.com, the new title for the romantic comedy is "Familymoon." Previously, the film that co-stars Drew Barrymore was known as "Blended."
Already, Sandler's Twitter feed (@happymadison) is using the hashtag #thefamily moon for tweets related to the movie. Also the movie has its own Twitter feed -- @the_familymoon.
The story line revolves around a couple who, after disastrous blind date, are stuck together in a family resort with their children from previous marriages.
Sandler’s Happy Madison company is co-producing the film, which is set for release on Memorial Day weekend 2014.
Filming has taken place in several locations in Buford, including Johnson's Hometown Pharmacy, the Mall of Georgia, and the abandoned baseball fields across from the Tote A Poke convenience store.
