How to Make Easter Bunny Bait

Sweet snack is a colorful and tasty Easter treat.

If you are looking for a fun, colorful, quick and easy Easter treat, bunny bait may be just the thing.

Here's what you'll need:

1 bag popped microwave popcorn

1 11-ounce package of white chocolate chips (I used Ghiradelli)

1 bag of Easter M&Ms (can be any variety - I used peanut M&Ms)

Pretzel sticks broken into half-inch pieces

Food coloring if desired

Spread the popcorn and pretzel pieces out in a jelly roll pan or on parchment paper.

Melt the chocolate chips according to package directions (Note: I added a small amount of milk to get the melted chocolate to pouring consistency).

Add food coloring to the melted chocolate if desired. My daughter and I decided to make ours a pale apricot color.

Pour the melted chocolate over the popcorn and pretzel bits. Add sprinkles, but do not stir (see photo).

After the chocolate hardens, break the popcorn/pretzel mixture into smaller pieces and toss with M&Ms.
