RE/MAX Legends Adopts 26 Kiwanis Kids
The staff and agents of RE/MAX Legends, the real estate company in Buford (GA), got in the holiday spirit by ‘adopting’ 26 ‘Kiwanis Kids’ who received gifts during the annual Kiwanis Secret Santa Christmas Party hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Lawrenceville, Georgia on December 14. This is the third year that RE/MAX Legends has participated in this event by donating and giftwrapping toys and other items, and every year, the number of ‘adoptions’ grows.
“The holidays are all about family, community, and giving back. By shopping with our own families for the Kiwanis Kids that our office has ‘adopted,’ we are able to teach our children about the act of giving. Then, we wrap the gifts together with our office family, all to support our community. It’s a very meaningful celebration of the holidays,” says RE/MAX Legends’ Broker and Owner Larissa K. Benson.

The Kiwanis Club of Lawrenceville is Gwinnett County's oldest active civic organization. Established more than 88 years ago, the club serves the children and teens of Lawrenceville (GA) and Greater Gwinnett County. Through their fundraising and volunteer efforts, the Kiwanis Club helps hundreds of young people each year through scholarships, charitable outreach, educational efforts, Christmas presents, book drives and many other "hands-on" projects.
